Catherine Boyfriend Short (Concept Wash)

These are amazing shorts! They are flattering and a great length. They have a little bit of stretch but are never loose. I am 5’4” and weigh 125 pounds (I ordered a size 4 for reference). These are one of my favorite pairs of Kut from the Kloth shorts!

True to size price was good and they are comfy.

This is going to be lengthy as I'm reviewing the shorts and then customer service. Kut from the Kloth is one of my favorite brands for pants so when I needed shorts this year, I sought them out. I ended up getting the "Joy" color that's no longer available. This was my first purchase from specifically the brand site. I was introduced to them by Stitch Fix and have gotten a pair from Nordstrom too. The shorts themselves fit great all over and I like the color. They did arrive as pictured. The one small dislike I have is that the bottom of the shorts, the leg opening, is a little bit more wide than I'd thought they'd be but it's growing on me lol. They did arrive with a little bit of that new denim smell that can be a little off putting, but I know it will face once they are washed so it's not bothersome. I'd rate them a five. Now why I've rated the review so low? Customer service. There are two things: within hours of me buying my shorts, full price minus the $15 dollar coupon, I received an email saying they were now half off. I emailed asking if I could have a price adjustment since it had only been a few hours, ten to be exact. DAYS later, I received an email from customer service saying they weren't on sale anymore. I replied going yes but they were on this date when my purchase was this date when I'd gotten more sale emails as well between those dates; I still get them daily as well. I was asked to forward the email on to them and I did. I never got another reply back even after I sent a follow up email after a few more days. I know that the answer could have been no, I would have just liked to have had one and been followed up with. The second is I was sent an email asking to review the item. I did so leaving the exact same info, it was not posted. I checked a few times as I wanted others to see it. Now the item is no longer posted so I'm not sure if it came up at all. To be of note, I checked to make sure that the email was not spam multiple times too. Each time it led me to the site with the coupon tab at the bottom. There's just been literally no communication. I truly hope this is one of those isolated incident circumstances and not how they are all the time.
